The Xpower by default is powered by 2 x 12gsm disposable CO2 cartridges hidden in the butt stock. It also have the option for refillable CO2 cylinder. This allows field operators to either sell 12gsm cartridges before and during gameplay or the option of having a refilling station.

The Xpower markers can also use air supply through a remote adaptor if the organiser has an aircompressor or other airsupply on the field.
